About Me
About Me
Hi, I'm Fiona, a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist providing community-based speech pathology services to children and adults with disability. My work focuses on practical, functional communication support to help people participate meaningfully in everyday life.
I provide services in real-life environments including homes, schools, day programs, Supported Independent Living (SIL) settings, and the community. Therapy is individualised and designed to support communication in the settings where it is used most.
I support a range of communication needs including speech, language, social communication, literacy, AAC (high-tech and low-tech), dysphagia (swallowing difficulties), voice disorders, stuttering, and neurological communication needs. I am LSVT LOUD trained and also use approaches such as PECS and Key Word Sign where appropriate.
I work closely with families, carers, support workers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure communication strategies are practical, consistent, and embedded into daily routines.
I am a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
